I part exchanged my previous vehicle with this garage for another vehicle the owner was selling. Along with my old vehicle which was in good working order I paid an extra £800. Within days problems began to arise. The owner said he would fix these but I ended up taking the car back around 5 times to the garage, each visit being a waste of time as the owner clearly did not know what he was doing. On Christmas Day when the vehicle broke down once again, id had enough. I contacted trading standards who advised I was within my rights to have a full refund. When I told the owner this he said trading standards were "lying" and downright refused to help me. He was aggressive when I advised him of my rights, I am not a confrontational person so I decided to deal through trading standards from then on. I have had months of stress over this car and the owner of this garage. I ended up having to take the matter to court as the owner declined all responsibility and blamed me for the problems despite the car having multiple problems from day one. I urge everyone to avoid this garage, worst experience I've had in my 10 years of driving and now sadly find it extremely hard to trust other mechanics.
